The lizard you can take in your hands, yet it is in kings’ palaces. Proverbs 30:28 (ESV)

A blessed morning to us all. Let's pay attention to the natural world for some inspiration this morning.

The writer of this Proverbs is here telling us that success and the ability to navigate or be present in significant places are not always a matter of strength or size, but can also be due to wisdom, resourcefulness, and the ability to adapt to circumstances.

The lizard, though small, can find its way into even the most secure and unlikely places. It reminds us that being grand or powerful is not a prerequisite for being in places of influence or significance.

Beloved, nobody is without a gift. Oftentimes, something that is seen as a weakness, may in the right light, be leveraged into a strength.

We are God's workmanship, created for good works. Let us leverage whatever gifts God has given to us, and thereby maximize our impact.
