CHRISTMAS CONVENTION

Join Us for a Spirit-Filled Christmas Convention at PIWC Metro City, Virginia

JESUS: THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD

“A light to bring revelation to the Gentiles, and the glory of Your people Israel.” – Luke 2:32

For Worship, the Word & Prayer

This Christmas, Metro City Church, Virginia, invites you to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ—the Light of the World. His arrival is the ultimate expression of Divine love and marks the beginning of God’s plan to bring light to a dark world.

From the dawn of creation, light has been a symbol of God’s presence, truth, and glory. His first a words in Scripture were, “Let there be light” (Gen. 1:3), a command that brought order to chaos and life to creation. The Christmas promises to restore order from chaos, and life into all that is dead.

John the Baptist proclaimed this truth before the first Christmas, bearing witness to the Light so that all might believe (John 1:7–8). And now, as followers of Christ, we are called to reflect His light to the world, living as beacons of holiness, purity, joy, love, and truth (Matt. 5:14).

Our objective this Christmas is clear: we desire to be transformed by the light of Christ so we may radiate it in every aspect of our lives. In holiness, divine nature, joy, purity, and love, we are called to be a living testimony of His presence. We believe this encounter with the Light will ignite a revival among us, setting the stage for God’s promises for us in 2025.

Come and experience the joy of encountering the Light of the World. This Christmas, let us unite as a people transformed and empowered to shine His light in every corner of our lives and community.

Let your light shine! (Matt. 5:16)

Spread The Light

The Share the Light: Christmas Food Drive seeks to provide nourishment and hope to our community’s homeless population during the holiday season. The scriptural focus for this project is taken from Matthew 25:40, where Jesus declares, “‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”

Through the dedication of volunteers, we will prepare and distribute 300 lunch bags filled with nutritious meals and engage in meaningful connections and evangelistic outreach with recipients. This event is projected to take place on the Saturday morning of our upcoming 2024 Christmas Convention.
